Create the BEST Summer Ever in 2023! Here’s How.
Here’s three things you can do to create the best summer ever.
These two major holidays in the Jewish and Christian faith, Passover and Easter respectively have been celebrated for generations. What important life lessons can we take from these traditions?
Where have you been hanging on to some self-doubt, maybe some criticism, an old idea of yourself? Where are you enslaved and not free to really express your true potential? Is it time to be free of that?
Passover represented the Jewish people and enslaved people being freed. Before the enslaved people were freed, ten plagues were passed on and had to be overcome.
This can represent that each and every one of us has enslaved parts of ourselves. Each of us is holding ourselves prisoner or enslaved to old ideas, concepts, or burdens about ourselves. When they say “let my people go to be free”, we can look inwards and release these enslaved parts of ourselves.
The plagues can represent the turning up of the desire for that freedom. So often, we’re holding ourselves in these places of bondage, and until the stakes get high enough, we stay enslaved.
As you think about your own life right now, what’s been holding you back?

Today’s topic on YouTube
Good Friday represents the day of the crucifixion. If we look at what occurred before the crucifixion, there was a betrayal that happened which led to the crucifixion.
The crucifixion is a very important component, because, without the crucifixion, there was no resurrection, which occurs on Easter Sunday.
Why does this matter, and how does this reflect back into each of our own lives?
Chances are, you’ve had betrayals in your life, by people or circumstances. A diagnosis, a financial setback, being fired or let go from a job, a divorce, or a person in your life who you trusted that betrayed you.
That betrayal leads to a crucifixion in our lives, which is really the death of an old version of ourselves, the letting go of something that is no longer serving us.
We know that betrayal is actually part of our human curriculum. Each one of us experiences betrayals in our life that lead to this what we would call this “crucifixion”. Here’s the important part, there are many crucifixions that occur, but our choice becomes the resurrection. It’s the opportunity to rise to a new level of consciousness. We can choose to learn from that betrayal and learn from the mistakes so that we can rise to a new level of consciousness, a new level of awareness.
I believe, is really about letting go of the old.
What is it time to set down? An old idea of yourself, an old concept of yourself, an old belief that is no longer serving you? What is it time to set that down to free yourself, so you can rise to a new level of consciousness, a new level of awareness?
Here we are in spring which is the birthing of new life, and I believe an invitation for each of us to birth into our new life new potential.
What would that look like for you? What are you birthing into, and what does that new level of awareness mean for you in your own life?
Whether you’re celebrating Passover if it’s the tradition of Easter if it’s the Easter bunny, or just appreciating the spring and the new life this weekend, allow this to be a sign and a symbol in your life for what is it time to let go of, and what are you bringing in or birthing.
What’s that newness for you?
Happy Passover, Happy Easter, and here is to you living a life you love.

Mother’s Day is a special day to celebrate our moms. Each one of us we came into this world, we all have a mom in some capacity, and from there, though, our stories vary.
