Have you ever met somebody who just seems like everything’s always working out for them? They are lucky, anything they touch turns to gold, and it can seemingly feel really annoying.
What are they doing that you’re not? Here’s what they know that you don’t.
They’re working with a success formula, consciously or not. They may not even be aware that they’re doing it, but there is a formula to creating results, and when we understand this formula, we, too can become the lucky ones where things are always working out for us!
The success formula starts by knowing what you want.
That success formula really starts by knowing what you want.
Highly Successful People have an image in their mind of where they’re going, of what they want to accomplish in their lifetime. Whether it’s in their personal goals, their health, their relationship goals, the work that’s important to them. Maybe they have some goals of legacy work or creating generational wealth.
Do you know what you want?
If you want to be one of those lucky people, you have to start with a clear picture of what it is that you want.
Today’s topic on YouTube
The other thing that highly successful people do, or those “lucky” ones, is they know what to say no to. The truth is we have a limited amount of time in our days and our weeks and our life, and if we’re constantly saying yes to distractions and allowing other things to take our attention, it’s really tough to accomplish the things that we say are important to us.
Highly successful people know what to say no to and what to say yes to. They’re not saying yes to everything that comes across their plate, they’re focused with their time, they’re focused with their energy. How focused are you with what you’re saying yes to and what you’re saying no to?
Highly successful people and those lucky ones that we witness in our lives are not just crossing things off on the task list every day, but they’re also very conscious about how they’re showing up in the world. Who they’re being, the energetic state, the energy that they’re bringing into the world.
You know when you’re in the company of somebody whose got their stuff together? Think about it – there’s a calmness, a confidence, a purpose. It’s not just what am I doing today, but how am I being today? How am I showing up in the world? How am I presenting myself?
Finally, gratitude.
If you consider highly successful people and those people in your life that you admire for what they’ve accomplished, they have had failures and setbacks too. It’s not true that everything they touch turns to gold – they’ve had trials and tribulations.
Through it all, you will see a through line of gratitude, where they’re grateful for the wins, they’re grateful for the losses, they’re grateful for everything in their life. And it’s very easy to say, it’s easy for them to be grateful, they’ve got it all together! But how they got it all together was through a practice of gratitude.
How can you lean into gratitude more in your life? Choosing to count your blessings, looking for what you’re grateful for. As you live more and more from an energy of gratitude and appreciation, watch how you start to become one of those lucky ones, where things seem to always work out for you.
